The Reason Why I Haven't Posted This Week – an entry full of (good) excuses

It’s not that I’ve been lazy. Apart from having very busy week at work (I spent all 5 days putting out fires) I’ve been also preparing a couple of guest posts for other blogs and magazines. I took my time because I wanted to get those posts right.

The first one is titled “The 10 Most Common Job Interview Questions And The Reason You Should Not Use Them” and will be published within the next couple of weeks in Primer Magazine, a magazine for men.

Since the article is targeted for recruiters and hiring managers, Jackie Simmonds, the editor of The New England Job Show, a blog dedicated to helping the unemployed during their job search, challenged me to turn the post upside down and target it for job-seekers. I accepted the challenge and a few days later I came up with “The 10 Most Common Job Interview Questions And What You Should Not Say”. I regard both entries as the two faces of the same token.

Also during this week a great partnership has been forged between this blog and Gradkin, an online community for job seekers and employers (here’s the address to Gradkin’s Blog). Expect to see content swaps in the near future.
