Getting better at Recruiting and Retaining (World of HR Management)

by Fernando on April 9, 2009

yRecruiting and retaining are two challenging tasks in the HR/Mgmt world. Key to it, is realizing what population we are considering to fill those spots in the workplace.

Today, a great percentage of those applicants were born between 1980 and 1999 and grew up during the 1990s and 2000s . They are the Gen Y.

Which are the characteristics and particularities of this group? How can we better understand it and use their potential? What traits that the Gen X have no longer apply for Gen Y?

Answers to this questions and more after the jump to World of HR Management.
