What You Wish You Had Known Before Your Job Interview [Infographic]

by Fernando on June 28, 2012

I just found a pretty nice infographic on Pinterest and I thought it was worth sharing. I don’t fully agree with all of the points but the infographic does make a good job at pinpointing things you need to keep an eye on before or during a job interview.

Take into account that these numbers come from a limited statistical sample and do not represent absolute truths. You may agree and/or disagree with them; and that’s why we have a comments section. Feel free to express your agreement, rage or indignation over there.

Interviews are very nervous to face. We must be prepared in every questions that they will ask.

Before any interview, the most important thing you need to prepare, frankly to say, is not the questions but your own nerve, or in other word, yourself. Believe it or not, it\’s up to you.

The reason why you need to prepare for the question is so that you won\\\’t lose your nerve during the interview. It’s better to know the route before you get lost!

I also want to share about interview. I had one interviewed on a high paying job company, they have 5 interviews in a row and thinking that i am not used to it on this kind of interview. I realize, i must be prepared on the question that they will ask.

Preparation is without doubt important, as is confidence and an ability to connect with people. Most people make mistakes in interviews, don’t make to big of a deal of it. Just learn from them!

I agree with you Elena, learning from them will surely help us in our next interview. However, it’s also a waste if we fail in the interview of our dream job. But we just have to move on and learn from it.

This is a nice infographic so thanks for sharing. I learned to always wear a suit for an interview, even if they don’t wear them when you are working. As you say people make snap judgements and it always helps if you look smart
