About Me

Hi, I’m Fernando Tarnogol, I’m a psychologist and I’ve also studied HR Administration. My work experience comprises a mix of Clinical Psychology , Human Resources and Management.

I was an expat for 4 years and I’ve been in 36 countries in all 5 continents. I try to write stories that are useful for as many people with as many diverse backgrounds as possible.

I’ve been blogging about careers, talent management and organizational development since 2007. My first blog was PsiXP (now defunct) until I decided to start this blog.

I also enjoy writing about science and social trends every now and then. If I decide to go blatantly off topic, I prefer to write guest posts on other blogs. My preferred destinations are WeBlogBetter or BloggingPro, A-list blogs oriented to the blogging and internet marketing community.

I write about stuff I know, so since I’ve never found a job through Twitter, I won’t write about how to find jobs on Twitter. If a topic goes beyond my knowledge or expertise I resort to a number of talented contributors from around the world or -mainly- our Resident Pro Blogger Ioana Lazarov.

This blog is currently being featured in the Careers page at Alltop, a popular news aggregating site founded by Apple’s former Chief Evangelist, Guy Kawasaki. The blog shares space with some high profile Careers blogs like Penelope Trunk, Brazen Careerist, MSNBC.com: Careers and The Monster Blog, where some of my articles have been featured.

My goal is to provide you with tools and psychology-derived concepts to help you make the most of your professional career and smoothly navigate the corporate and professional world.
